FAQs
The answers to your questions
Can I bring more than one dog?
Absolutely! Our booking system allows you to book for up to four dogs in a single session.
We generally limit sessions to four dogs due to the size of our Christmas set and the time available.
However, if you have more than four exceptionally well-trained dogs, we're happy to discuss whether we can accommodate them. Please contact us before booking.
How long does each photoshoot last?
Each photoshoot lasts 15 minutes, which we've found is more than enough time to capture a lovely selection of photographs.
If you'd prefer a little extra time, you're welcome to book two consecutive appointments, subject to availability.
Please note that each appointment is charged at the standard rate, with no discount for additional sessions.
How much does a photoshoot cost?
Our Christmas photoshoots start at just £20 for one dog, with each additional dog costing £10 within the same session.
1 dog – £20
2 dogs – £30
3 dogs – £40
4 dogs – £50
How many photographs will I receive?
We don't believe in putting an arbitrary limit on the number of photographs you receive.
Our approach is simple: if we've captured a good photograph, you'll get it!
We aim to provide as many quality images as possible from your session rather than restricting you to a set number.
We also occasionally include a few less-than-perfect shots that are simply too funny or full of personality to leave out!
Every dog is different, so the number of photographs will naturally vary between sessions.
When will I receive my photographs?
We aim to have all galleries ready and delivered within two weeks of your photoshoot.
We'll also share a selection of sneak peeks on our social media pages within a few days of the sessions, so keep an eye out!
Should there be any unexpected delays with gallery delivery, we'll make sure everyone is kept informed by email.
Where are the photoshoots held?
Our Christmas Dog Photoshoots take place at:
St John Ambulance Hall, Llanelli
Full details will be provided with your booking confirmation.
My dog is nervous, energetic or won't sit still. Is that a problem?
Not at all! We're all dog lovers ourselves, and having huskies means we're certainly no strangers to energetic dogs!
We understand that every dog has their own personality, and not all of them will sit perfectly for a photograph.
We take a relaxed approach, giving dogs time to settle and adapting the session to suit them.
We've photographed plenty of dogs over the years, so we're used to working with all sorts of personalities and temperaments.
If your dog is particularly excitable or struggles to stay in position, we can even photograph them on a lead and remove it during editing afterwards.
Please don't worry about your dog misbehaving. We're used to it, and it's all part of the fun!
Will my dog come into contact with other dogs?
No! We operate a strict one-way system throughout our photoshoots to ensure that dogs from different appointments never meet.
This allows each dog to enjoy their session without the distraction or stress of encountering unfamiliar dogs.
It's particularly helpful for nervous, reactive or excitable dogs, and helps us maintain a calm, safe and relaxed environment for everyone.
We've designed the system so that every dog can enjoy their photoshoot comfortably, regardless of their temperament.
Can owners or children be included in the photographs?
Of course! We're more than happy for owners and children to join their dogs for a few photographs.
We just ask that you remember these are primarily pet photoshoots, so the main focus of the session will always be your dog.
Can I bring my own Christmas outfits or accessories?
Absolutely! You're welcome to bring along any Christmas outfits, accessories, toys or props you'd like included in your photographs.
We also have a selection of items available to purchase on the day through AlfiCrafts, so you might even find something special for your dog while you're visiting!
What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
We understand that plans can change, but we kindly ask for at least 14 days' notice if you need to cancel your appointment.
Unfortunately, cancellations made with less than 14 days' notice are non-refundable.
Our photoshoots are deliberately priced to remain as affordable as possible.
As we have to cover the cost of hiring the venue and preparing the set, last-minute cancellations can leave us unable to recover those costs.
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us keep our prices accessible.
Will the Christmas backdrop be different from previous years?
Yes! We like to keep things fresh for our returning customers, so we aim to create a different Christmas setup each year.
That means even if you've visited us before, you'll have something new to look forward to!
